WHO AM I ?
A daughter, dog mom, student, colleague, friend, mentor, advisor, and assistant director. In high school I needed to advocate for myself and it all started with a counselor telling me I would never get accepted to half the schools I wanted to apply to....she was right but her lack of support and belief made me question her role as a counselor. One of my purposes is to serve and aid others by being a resource of knowledge or simply lend a listening ear. During college I learned about myself and who I wanted to be - a leader. Throughout college I made choices that were of interest to me and would help build my knowledge about the world around me. There is a large gap between students who enter college and retention however it starts with applying to college and my goal is to ensure students and families who do not understand the process and navigate it with ease!
